Finding treats that align with the Weight Watchers program can be tough if you are trying to stay within your points range. The end of the week rolls around and you just want a sweet treat that won’t push you over your limits, it happens to us all.

How do I count this Weight Watchers Dole Whip?

This Weight Watchers Dole Whip recipe is just 3 Freestyle SmartPoints per serving. If you use unsweetened almond milk it drops way back it just 1 Freestyle SmartPoint!

Weight Watchers Note: there’s a rule about blended fruit and counting those for points. Since this is eaten with a spoon and not technically a drink, I don’t count it!

How do I count this if I want to consider it a drink?

As always, it’s important that you count things according to your individual needs and plan! If you are worried about that rule and eating this recipe excessively use this recipe alteration: 3/4 cup almond milk, 1 cup pineapple and make it a two serving treat and it’s only 2 points (even when calculated as a drink)!

We can all spare a few points at the end of the day right?!

How to make a WW dole whip:

It’s really easy to make a dole whip. They’re delicious as a dessert alternative and since they are low in points you can enjoy this tasty treat on Weight Watchers Freestyle with relatively little sacrifice!

  1. Combine ingredients in a food processor and blend until no large chunks appear.
  2. Can be kept in the fridge for a day and still be served.
  3. Serve within 24 hours for best results and taste.

What are the points for this recipe when made with milk?

For Weight Watchers this entire recipe is 3 Freestyle SmartPoints. If you want to reduce those points you can use almond milk. You’d use the same amount, 3/4 of a cup for one serving. Almond milk makes this recipe only 1 Freestyle Smart Point.

Finished product looks like this. In a glass from top down we have a dole whip weight watchers recipe.
