Crock Pot Philly Cheesesteak Dip

Low-Point Crock Pot Philly Cheesesteak Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (16 oz) lean deli roast beef, chopped
  • 3 red and green bell peppers, finely diced
  • 1 medium yellow onion, finely diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz Neufchâtel (⅓ less fat) cream cheese
  • 8 oz fat-free cream cheese
  • 1 cup 2% reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup reduced-fat mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 (15 oz) jar Queso Blanco made with 2% milk (or a light queso dip)
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Add the chopped peppers, onion, garlic, and roast beef to the slow cooker.
  2. Cube both cream cheeses and add them to the crock pot.
  3. Pour in the queso dip and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Sprinkle in the onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, and salt.
  5. Cook on LOW for 2–3 hours (or HIGH for about 1½ hours), stirring once or twice.
  6. Stir in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella during the last 15 minutes until completely melted.
  7. Stir well until creamy and serve warm.
