Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 cups Rice Krispie cereal
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper, plus more to sprinkle
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375F.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and shredded cheddar cheese until you have a smooth mixture.
- Gradually incorporate the flour, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, salt, and garlic powder. Mix slowly until everything is combined, using your hands for the best results as you work the dough.
- Fold in the Rice Krispie cereal, mixing until it is evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Take large teaspoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and gently flatten each one with a fork. Hold the cracker down carefully as you lift the fork and sprinkle a bit more cayenne pepper on top for extra flavor.
- Bake the crackers for 13-15 minutes or until they turn golden and crispy. Once done, let them cool and store in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
