Greek Seven Layer Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hummus (I used Sabra plain hummus)
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce (see below)
  • 1/2 cucumber, chopped
  • 5 oz. cherry tomatoes, cut into quarters
  • 2 tablespoons red onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons sliced black olives

For the tzatziki sauce:

  • 1 cup plain, fat-free Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cucumber, shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Spread the hummus evenly on the bottom of a 9″ pie pan or square baking pan.
  2. Spread the tzatziki sauce evenly on the hummus. (To make the tzatziki sauce simply stir the Greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, dill, salt and pepper together in a bowl.)
  3. Add the cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, feta cheese and black olives. Optional: sprinkle a little more dill on top of the dip.
