Very Berry Smoothie – Zero Weight Watchers Freestyle Points

Very Berry Smoothie

You will need:

  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries berries
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup fat free plain greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

  • Dump all ingredients into a blender (or Nutribullet)
  • Blend
  • Pour in a cup and enjoy!

My own personal opinion? I do agree that WW is saying many people drink smoothies quickly which can lead you to be hungrier sooner.  Me personally?  A smoothie like the one pictured above would take me about two hours to drink.  I drink smoothies superrrrrr slowly.  It’s almost alarming how long it takes me to drink a smoothie.  That’s why I almost NEVER have a smoothie for breakfast – I don’t have two hours to work on that first meal of the day.  So officially per WW, this smoothie (nor any other smoothie) is NOT zero points. As for me, knowing it’s going to take me a couple of hours to work through 1.25 cups of berries, some ice, almond milk and 1/4 c ff Greek yogurt? It’s a zero for me. In this situation, you do you.  Whether you count it as 0 points or add up the fruit points, it’s still a super refreshing, relatively low calorie snack or meal option as you strive to make healthier choices!
