Weight Watchers Bacon Cheddar Chicken


Ingredients

  • 3 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices center-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • ⅓ cup chopped green onions, for garnish
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly coat a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper and place them in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is nearly cooked through.
  4. Remove the dish from the oven and top each chicken breast with the crumbled center-cut bacon and reduced-fat cheddar cheese.
  5. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
